How does one know the right path? Or are we all just senselessly wandering, believing that our actions could some how steer the winds of fate. It would be so much easier to relinquish all responsibility and just allow my ship to go where it may. Yet, that very concept seems to create an inner conflict, for how could I ever raise issue with destination if I never even attempted to guide my path? Is the true conflict simply not accepting that my destination is where fate has brought me? Is it this mortal blood that condemns me to this fate? My time here is limited, and to not achieve my self created agenda, seems to create a state worse than dying a thousand times over. This rebellion against my current situation has only seemed to flood my life with the fires of desire. And although they may keep me warm on nights so cold, they are slowly burning me alive, day by day, till only the ashes of what I once was remain. Surely it is my hope to be reborn of these ashes, something better, something with purpose, a new fate, a new soul entirely. Thus finally freeing myself from the lock of Destiny. To create our own, is man's desire, envious of the Creator's ability to do so, we seek his power, and attempt it in our actions, usually at our own peril. Both actions seem to lead to the same destination...madness.
My Friends, my nemesis, my writers through and through, We-The-Writers would like to give are members the opportunity to make suggestions on how we can improve the group.

If there are certain challenges or tournaments you would like to see happen?
Are there folders that you would like to see added?
Do you know of other Writing groups seeking affiliation?
What makes a good DA group?
Ideas on increasing participation?
Should we hold weekly discussions on Writing topics?
Can we do events where we let you the members decide who should win, based off of most internal votes and unique comments?

In general just let us know what you would like to see from us, It is our hopes to upgrade this group into something we can all be proud to be a part of. Here is your chance to help shape the Destiny of something that could become truly beautiful.

May your quills never run out of ink, ideas never stop flowing, and passion never stop growing

deepest regards, Feast4DaBeast
Its been a while since We-The-Writers have had any kind of event. I was thinking in spirit of the season we could have a small competition of both creativity and your ability to convey horror with the written arts. Only serious competitors should apply, if you are unable to truly pull your soul out in this piece I wouldn't recommend stepping up to the cutting block. I shall be your reaper on this contest taking input from others comments on your piece. A prize of 100 points shall go to the last contestant with their head still attached.

:bulletgreen:I am thinking of trying something different for the writing prompt. If you guys do not like it, we can do something else.
But for this week the prompt will be:

You wake up with a key in your hand. How did you get the key and where did you wake up?
